SKZ and SGS: A Late-Night Exchange Leads to Loyalty
Part One – The Beginning
In 2020, SGS left a comment below a YouTube video of SKZ – asking about the SKZ111K soil moisture meter. On the same night, the teams from both sides got in touch. SGS needed a customized version: probe length 78 centimeters, handle 12 centimeters, cable 6 feet. Only 5 units. Early in the morning, SKZ provided detailed drawings and SGS confirmed each item before production could begin.

Part Two – Intermediate Steps – Why SGS Has Always Chosen SKZ
After producing the first 5 units of products, SGS could have placed orders with any large and well-known supplier. However, SKZ’s responsible attitude ultimately won their favor. From the probe to the handle and even the cable, every detail was agreed upon before cutting. This approach led SGS to repeatedly place orders with SKZ over a period of time, totaling three times:
July 17, 2020 – 4 independently customized probes
August 7, 2020 – Another customized model SKZ111K was added
February 12, 2021 – Another 2 customized SKZ111K models were produced
Part Three – A Perfect Conclusion – Repeated Orders, Zero Issues
Out of the three deliveries from the initial delivery to the final repeat purchase, the laboratory personnel of SGS Company replied to us, “For all the items of SKZ111K, whether in the first batch or the repeat purchase, there were no calibration problems and no performance complaints were received. Such a small YouTube comment has turned into a stable and loyal customer. SKZ has proven that quantity is not everything – accuracy, patience and perfect execution can win trust.
